So you think you can't draw? with Jenny Wood

​

Get ready to find your inner awesome.

This relaxed 3 hour drawing workshop is designed to help you switch off, unwind, and enjoy the process of creating—without the pressure of having to be “good” at art.

Using a mix of the Monart method, Zentangle®, and Jenny’s own unique approach, you’ll learn how to draw in a way that feels natural, freeing, and surprisingly enjoyable.

It’s a completely failure-free environment, suitable for absolute beginners through to more experienced artists. No experience is needed—just a willingness to have a go.

We’ll explore drawing, shading, and adding colour, with the final hour set aside to relax into your work with music playing and guidance available if you need it.

You’ll leave with new skills, a fresh sense of confidence, and your own finished artwork as well as a nice bag of materials and Jenny’s printed workshop booklet in glorious colour (RRP $8.50).

Jenny comes from a background in education, including working with people with disabilities and teaching at TAFE. This experience has shaped her approachable, inclusive teaching style, allowing her to support learners both in-person and online with confidence and clarity.

She combines her teaching skills with her artistic practice to create engaging, accessible workshops for all levels.

FAQ’s

I have a ticket but haven’t paid yet— is that OK?

Payment is required to secure your spot.

 

Is there a minimum age?

Teenagers are welcome if they’re able to stay focused for the full session. Younger participants can attend with a paying adult, as long as they’re comfortable sitting and drawing for three hours.

 

Parking?

There’s parking available out the front.

 

What do I need to bring?

Just yourself and a good attitude. All materials are included, along with Jenny’s printed workshop booklet in glorious colour (RRP $8.50).

Refund policy

Due to high demand, refunds aren’t available. You’re welcome to transfer to another workshop with at least one week’s notice.
